Firstly, you should have a general idea about a plant, how many parts it will be include:
Section one: Debarking
Debarking is a step for your raw material are wood with bark, cause most chipping machine cannot chip the wood with bark, so you need to debark the wood first. Sometimes if your woods are longer than 6m, you even need a wood cutting machine, to cut the wood shorter than 6m.
Section two: Chipping
After debarking your wood (if it needed), you need to chip the wood into less than 6mm. 6mm is the best size to pelletize, so if your material is bigger than this size, you need to chip or crush them into this size.
Section three: Drying
The best moisture to pelletize is 13-15% (related to the varieties of wood), if your material is wet than this index, you need to drying them first.
Section Four: Pelletizing
After the pretreatment of the raw material (with the size smaller than 6mm, moisture is around 13-15%), we can begin to pelletize your material to pellets.
Section Five: Cooling & Sifting
Because the pelletizing progress will produce high temperature during press pellets, in order to guarantee the quality of the pellets, we need to cool the pellets down after they were discharged from the pellet mill. Also in order to make the pellets look unity, we need to sift them, make same size together, and other different size pellets out.
Section Six: Packing
After cooling the pellets, you need to pack them into bags and stock them.
